Drs. Hans Schuurman

Interim CFO/COO
for legal and business service providers

I have 24 years of management experience, of which 15 years in legal services and 9 years in financial services. I started in consultancy. 

 

My primary focus is on profit, efficiency and process improvement of the business or financial service provider across the integrated axes: People, clients, work processes, innovation and Finance.

 

In my work, I achieve results quickly by providing clear insight into the entire process chain of the office, identifying and addressing areas for improvement and further professionalizing my teams. 

I never do this alone, but always in coordination with management, practice, users and my teams in well-prepared sessions. In this way I create support for the changes.

 

In recent years I have fulfilled the roles of interim finance and knowledge manager, project leader in extensive projects, management coach and now as Finance Director at Greenberg Traurig. In the latter role I also work on international projects, one of which I lead.

 

I enjoy following developments in professional services and the legal profession, about which I regularly publish and give lectures.
